Annually, on April 2, the birthday of the great storyteller from Denmark Hans Christian Andersen, the whole world celebrates the International Children's Book Day. From 27.03.2018 to 31.03.2018 in our library is the Week of the children's book "Spring holidays - with a book", organized by the Children's Services Department. During the Week, various events will be organized.

On March 27, the first day of the Week, the library was visited by pupils of the school-lyceum No. 101, who became participants in the theatrical dedication to the readers - "Hello, Bookin' Week!". "Terrible" Captain Flint checked the children for knowledge of children's books, "hilarious" Donkey complained about his illiteracy and asked the children to help him, and "green" Shrek calmly looked at everything happening, one of his kind causing laughter in children.

On the second day of the children cartoons and quizzes are waiting.

On Wednesday, the children will open the doors of the Creative Workshop "Beauty with their own hands."

On the fourth day of the Week, children will be invited to take part in an exciting mini-quest under the intriguing title: "On the Island of Robinson."

The final fifth day will be a game-quiz, contests and games: it's called "Let's play!". Throughout the week, every child can participate in the "Take a gift as a gift" campaign, get bookmarks for coloring, and have a fun photo session with Captain Flint, Donkey and Shrek.
