On March 1, employees of the regional youth library named after J. Bekturov and members of the youth intellectual center "BOTA" organized a festive action - a youth library parade "To be grateful - in all sincerity", dedicated to the Day of Gratitude in Kazakhstan. The inhabitants of the city witnessed a bright and colorful spectacle - a "library landing" landed in front of the Central Universal Store on the central square of Bukhar Jyrau Avenue!
For more than an hour the festive action continued, during which a flash mob and several mini-actions were held by librarians and "Botanay people". The essence of one of them was that, asking the question - "To whom do you want to say" thank you "today and for what?" - employees were asked to call and say words of gratitude to dear people right here and now. Attracted by a flash mob, passers-by, in response to emotional appeals, took out mobile phones and gladly called those who wanted to say sincere words of gratitude. The second mini-action also attracted many citizens. On the video camera interviews with passers-by were recorded, which answered the question - "Do you often say gratitude in your life?". In addition, all participants were invited to visit the library, numerous information bookmarks, business cards, flyers were distributed.
About 300 residents of the city took an active part in the holiday. In turn, the townspeople wholeheartedly thanked the organizers for their kind words and wishes.
We can say that the staff of our library and the members of the youth intellectual center "BOTA" contributed to the fact that this day became a bright holiday of charity, friendship and love of Karaganda people to each other!
