Kalenova Nurgul Kasymkhanovna

N.K.Kalenova was born on November 29, 1967 in the Aktogay district of the Karaganda region. She began her career in 1984 as a librarian in the recruitment department at the Central District Library of the Aktogay Centralized Library System.

1985-1989 - learned in the daytime department of the Shymkent Pedagogical Institute of Culture named after Al-Farabi, by speciality "Library Science and Bibliography".

1989 - 1997 - worked in the CRL of Aktogay district.

In 1997, she was recruited to the Karaganda Regional Junior Library. For this period she has passed a way from the librarian of a department of service of children to the leading expert of information-methodical department.

Since 2009, she headed the Information and Bibliographic Department.

In 2015 she was appointed deputy director of the library.

In 2017, she was appointed head of the Karaganda Regional Junior Library named after Zh. Bekturov.

Nurgul Kasymkhanovna was at the source of the introduction of new technologies in the work of the library, is the author of numerous methodological and bibliographic manuals, publications in the professional and socio-political press.

She actively participated and made presentations on current topics of the library sector at various professional conferences and seminars in Kazakhstan.

In 2014, she took courses in the St. Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts (SPbSUCA), the Center for Further Professional Education on the theme "International Summer Library School".

In 2016 N.Kalenova was awarded with a breastplate "Кітапхана ісінің үздігі" of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The highly professional work of Nurgul Kasymkhanovna Kalenova was repeatedly noted by letters and gratitudes.
