The main indicator of competitiveness is knowledge, and the main source of knowledge is the book. The future lies in the hands of educated youth. The regional junior library named after Zh. Bekturov contributes to the formation of inner peace, the widening of the horizons of young readers, and the acquisition of new knowledge.

In Kazakhstan, since 2007, the action "One country - one book" is held. Annually the whole country reads the work of one writer. According to the republican action "One country-one book-2018", this year three books were chosen. The works of Shakarim Kudaiberdiuly, Nemat Kelimbetov's book "I do not want to lose hope" and Baurzhan Momyshuly's book "Ұшқан ұя".

On April 17, within the framework of the action "One country - one book" in the Karaganda regional youth library named after J. Bekturov, a round table was organized under the name of "Adamdyқ borysh, ar үshin, barsha adamzat қамы үшін".

In the music hall the poet Kuanysh Maksut acquainted the students of the Karaganda college of actual education Bolashak and the students of the Kazakh literature department of the Central-Kazakhstan University of MHTI "Lingua" with the life and work of the great Kazakh poet Shakarim Kudaiberdiyev. Zhumageldin Zhanaydar Shaimerdenovich, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Literature of the Philological Faculty of the Karaganda State University named after E.A.Buketov, acquainted those present with the work of Bauyrzhan Momyshuly "Ұшқан ұя" and separately focused on the content of this work. The head of the cabinet-museum of J. Bekturov of the J.Bekturov Regional Youth Library Shpanova Zhanat Rymkulovna acquainted the readers with a poem by Zhaik Bekturov dedicated to Shakarim.

In the reading room the librarian of the youth service department Zhumagulova Meiramgul Toleugazievna for the students of the Karaganda state university named after E.A.Buketov and pupils of the lyceum school №57 named after S.Sattarov held an event dedicated to the work of the Kazakh writer, translator, scholar-Turkologist, doctor of philology, Professor Nemat Kelimbetov "I do not want to lose hope." Teacher of the Kazakh literature of school-lyceum №57 named after S.Sattarov, Ksyrova Asem Berikovna stopped at the content of the work and acquainted everyone with the biography of the writer. Pupils of the 10th grade, students of the Karaganda state university named after E.A.Buketov Kadyrov Karlygash and Kekbekbaeva Fariza shared their thoughts about this work. They said that the work "I do not want to lose hope" educates in youth patience, humanity, makes you think about human values.

During the event the readers got acquainted with the review of the book exhibition "Өр рухты үш тұлға".
