Great Sons of Great Fathers

The first meeting of this year was held by the Youth Communication and Mass Work Department on January 25 at the exit, within the walls of the regional specialized boarding school for children named after Aliya Moldagulova.

Within the framework of the implementation of the main directions of the article by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev "Looking into the Future: Modernizing Public Consciousness", as well as the January Message of the President "New Development Opportunities in the Conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution", numerous significant events are held in the country.

"Ұлылардан туған – Ұлы тұлға" - "Great Sons of Great Fathers" - a literary evening dedicated to the 75th birthday of the public figure, culturologist Murat Mukhtarovich Auezov - harmoniously blended into this canvas.

As guests, senior lecturer of the philological faculty, associate professor of the department of Kazakh literature of the Karelian State University named after E.A.Buketov Toleubaeva Kamshat Amangeldievna and a political scientist and teacher of the youth library Aidos Bodel were invited.

The son of the outstanding Kazakh writer Mukhtar Auezov - Murat Mukhtarovich is still conducting wide public work, is engaged in research activities. On the life and work of the scientist-culturologist, the diplomat showed a video film prepared by the library staff, and the evening's host - a library employee, akyn Ruslan Nurbai after the introductory part, gave the floor to the guests - literary critics and political scientists, from whose speeches the guys learned a lot of interesting information about life and activity of Murat Auezov.

Murat Auezov was born on January 1, 1943 in the village of Merke Zhambyl region in the family of the writer Mukhtar Omarkhanovich Auezov and Fatima Gabitova. He graduated from the Institute of Oriental Languages ​​at the Moscow State University. MV Lomonosov Moscow State University, majoring in Chinese philology. He studied at the graduate school of the Institute of World Literature of the USSR Academy of Sciences, is a candidate of philological sciences. The theme of his thesis: "Problems of the national identity of modern Kazakh literature".

The main part of the event was devoted to disclosing the contents of Murat Auezov's books "Ділім" and "The Time of the Connecting Thread", which he dedicated to his father's bright memory. In the book, narrating about the life of the state and public figure, the theme of independence, its importance for the whole people is touched upon.

The teacher and educator of the sports boarding school Gulzhazira Shyrinovna took an active part in organizing and holding the event together, and prepared many interesting materials. On behalf of the library, she and the guests of the event were awarded letters of thanks.

The purpose of this event was to show young pupils of a boarding school, on an example of life and creativity of M.M. Auezov, that diplomacy and talent, work and courage always go alongside. The wealth of the national spirit is reflected in generations. And it is they, now sitting at their desks, in the future will have to carry high the flag of our Motherland.
