On April 17, 2018, in the department of child care of the RJL named after Zh.Bekturov, the cognitive hour "Тіл – адам көңілінің кілті" - "Language is the key to the human soul" was held. At the event were invited students of the gymnasium number 39 named after M. Zhumabayev, 7 "A" class.

The host of the event is the librarian of the reading room Zhakupova G.R. acquainted those present with the history of the Kazakh language, which goes back deep into the ancient Turkic era.

Within the framework of the "Рухани Жаңғыру" program on April 12, 2017, the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev instructed the government to compile a timetable for the transition of the Kazakh alphabet into Latin alphabet. Since 2018, there has been training for the teaching of the new alphabet and work on publishing textbooks for secondary schools. By 2025, the transition to the Latin alphabet in Kazakhstan should be carried out everywhere.

At this event, a speaker was invited to implement the project of a phased transition of the Kazakh language to the Latin alphabet in the framework of the program "Ruhani zhanyrou - a look into the future" Tursynova M.A, associate professor, candidate of philological sciences, E.A. Buketov. She came up with cognitive information about the role of language in human life, about its importance in society.

To this event in the reading room the book exhibition "Тіл – адам көңілінің кілті" - "Language is the key to the human soul", where books and articles from periodicals were presented, was framed. At the exhibition were also presented rare books in the Latin script, which aroused great interest on the part of schoolchildren.
