As part of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan - the city of Astana, the regional junior library named after Zh.Bekturov holds the Week of Youth Book "Horizons of Knowledge", dated to the World Book and Copyright Day, from April 17 to 25.

On April 17, the grand opening of the Youth Book Week took place in the Lib-mob format on the square in front of the Friendship House of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in the Karaganda region.

The event was attended by the schoolchildren of Karaganda: school-gymnasium No. 101, School-gymnasium No. 102, Gymnasium No. 39 named after M. Zhumabaev, School No. 23, School No. 5, School No. 16, Nazarbayev Intellectual School of the Chemical-Biological Direction in . Karaganda.

The event began with a speech by the deputy head of the Regional Junior Library named after Zh. Bekturov Volkova O.N., who said that the Week will be full of various, interesting, events, such as youth action, online - a meeting of peers of Astana, creative master classes and quizzes and many others.

Lined up in three rows, on the steps of the improvised stage, the guys demonstrated the slogan of the event: "Жастар. Астана. Кітап».

The audience gathered with pleasure watched the concert program, which included the performance of the vocal ensemble "Cadets" OSH No. 21, concert numbers prepared by the members of the JIC BOTA. Following the group of students of the students of the Karaganda vocational-technical college, schoolchildren unanimously repeated dance movements. And at the end of the event, multi-colored balloons were released into the sky.

During the event, students and schoolchildren could get acquainted with the book exhibition "Астана – Ұлы дала Елордасы".
