On April 22, on the season ticket for the Youth Services Department, the exhibitions «Қазақтың қайсар ұлы Қасым батыр» and «Дәуір суреткері», dedicated to the jubilees of the People's Hero of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kazakh writer, the laureate of the A. Fadeev International Literary Prize Kasym Kaisenov and the Kazakh poet, prose writer, translator Kalkaman Abdukadyrov. K. Kaisenov and K.Abdukadyrov are veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

During the reviews of exhibitions, the life and work of writers was told about their works.

Employees of the subscription read excerpts from K. Kaisenov's book "Memoirs and Notes". Readers also disclosed the contents of the book "Behind Enemy Lines" by K. Kaisenov, spoke about the exploits of the writer who wrote his works while in Ukraine, Moldova, Hungary. During the war years, the writer, having received a special assignment, was thrown into the rear of the enemy to organize partisan movement in the territory of occupied Ukraine.

During the review of the exhibition devoted to the 115th birthday of Kalkaman Abdukadyrov, who made a special contribution to the development of children's literature, librarians settled on his life path and creativity, acquainted with his books. Of particular interest was the story "Kazhyman" about the great son of the Kazakh people, the greatest strongman and fighter Kazhimukan Munaitpasov.
