On April 26, employees of the RJL named after Zh.Bekturov in on-line mode took part in the "Creative Technologies in Library Local Studies" block of the regional seminar "Relay of Generations" organized by the V.F. Potanin Kurgan Regional Children's and Junior Library (Russian Federation ). The seminar was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Kurgan region and the 100th anniversary of the Komsomol. The seminar focused on the study of local lore and the work of libraries to preserve historical memory and strengthen the continuity of generations.

In 2001 our library was given the name of writer, poet, publicist, translator Zhaik Kagenovich Bekturov, in the same year the museum-cabinet of Zh. Bekturov was opened in the library. The creation of the memorial museum of the writer subjected to repression, gave the library a special status and predetermined one of the priorities of the activity - the disclosure of the theme of the consequences of totalitarianism.

The experience of the creation of Zh.K.Bekturov's museum, the organization of expositions, the fund, the popularization of life and creativity of the writer in the youth environment, the research work of the staff was told to colleagues from the city of Kurgan, videos about the museum are shown, the Digital Library of the Digital Archive "Дәнекер" . The speech emphasizes that the library has a great responsibility for the cultural and reader's destiny of the creative heritage of an outstanding personality, whose name it bears.
As noted by our counterparts, the experience of the Karaganda Junior Library named after Zh. Bekturov on the creation of the writer's museum can be useful to the Kurgan Regional Children's and Junior Library, which in 2017 was named after the famous countryman - writer Viktor Fedorovich Potanin.

Created at libraries and unusual, specific, so-called thematic museums. The interest of our librarians was caused by the speech of E.G.Samsonova, deputy director of the children's library "YCL Lebyazhye district" about the museum of the swan - a peculiar brand of the library.

Participation with the help of it-technologies in the seminars of our foreign colleagues gives an opportunity to get acquainted with the experience of libraries, exchange information, new practical developments, establish contacts and plan directions for further cooperation.
