On May 16, the information and bibliographic department hosted an event on the topic: "Latin әрпіне көшу - қазақ тілінің болашағы" for pupils of 7th and 9th grades of the school № 48. For schoolchildren, they conducted a bibliographic survey on Internet resources, introduced books on the Latin schedule from the personal foundation of Zhaik Bekturov. The guys were given booklets with information about the translation of the Kazakh language into Latin script and the new Kazakh alphabet based on the Latin script. With the help of the booklet schoolchildren wrote a small dictation in Latin.
